Our goal is to design and construct homes that are beautiful to look at, highly efficient to maintain, using 100% reclaimed timber materials, and super efficient building systems to be easy on the environment.

NO new trees are cut for our frames. We use only reclaimed, recycled timbers that are resawn, remilled, planed, and fashioned into joinery, so we’re easier on the environment. That’s a win/win situation.

Our frames won’t shrink or crack or warp. Our joinery remains as tight and as beautiful as the day the frame was erected. Why would anyone use newly cut trees anymore?

Glenville Timberwrights is a sponsor of the Wisconsin Green Building Alliance and was awarded the prestigious Friend of the Environment Award for 2001 by the Wisconsin Environmental Working Group in recognition of our continuous efforts in Green, sustainable building concepts. We were the winners of the 2007 Sauk County Business of the Year.
