Typical stages of a Glenville Timberwrights home from shop to completion.

The frame is carefully cut and pre-assembled in our shop.

At the job site we first lay out the deck to make sure everything is square and true.

When the crane arrives, the timbers and panels are unloaded and staged.

Next, the frame is re-assembled and pegged, one bent at a time...

...and raised into position.

This process is continued...

...until the frame is completed.

A tongue and groove pine ceiling is applied on top of the rafters next.

The pine compliments the Douglas Fir timbers beautifully!

Wall and roof panels are craned into position and secured to the timbers. Note the window and door openings are all pre-cut.

The frame is now enclosed.

Windows and doors complete the enclosure and create a comfortable space for the rest of the work. Can you believe this took less than 2 weeks?

A floor level view from inside the home. Work is progressing well.

Looking down from the loft gives a stunning view of the frame.

The home is complete!
