Martinelli 005.jpg (7444 bytes)        At the job site we first lay out the deck to make sure everything is square and true.

Martinelli 006.jpg (10582 bytes)         When the crane arrives, the timbers and panels are unloaded and staged.

Martinelli 007.jpg (9328 bytes)         Next, the frame is re-assembled and pegged, one bent at a time...

Martinelli 008.jpg (8057 bytes)         ...and raised into position.

Martinelli 009.jpg (9461 bytes)         This process is continued...

Martinelli 010.jpg (10072 bytes)       ...until the frame is completed.

Martinelli 011.jpg (9245 bytes)         A tongue and groove pine ceiling is applied on top of the rafters next.

Martinelli 012.jpg (8621 bytes)          The pine compliments the Douglas Fir timbers beautifully!

Martinelli 013.jpg (10891 bytes)          Wall and roof panels are craned into position and secured to the timbers.  Note the window and door openings are all pre-cut.

Martinelli 015.jpg (7395 bytes)          The frame is now enclosed.

Martinelli 016.jpg (10145 bytes)           Windows and doors complete the enclosure and create a comfortable space for the rest of the work.  Can you believe this took less than 2 weeks?

Martinelli 001.jpg (10334 bytes)           A floor level view from inside the home.  Work is progressing well.

Martinelli 002.jpg (10553 bytes)            Looking down from the loft gives a stunning view of the frame.

Martinelli 003.jpg (60544 bytes)           The home is complete!
